Sankalp Forum, an Intellecap Initiative, aims to influence the global inclusive development discourse through its work with entrepreneurs, impact investors and inclusive businesses in developing markets. Keeping entrepreneurs and the social impact that they create at its core, Sankalp engages Governments, corporations, influential platforms like the G8 and G20, media and civil society.

Sankalp's global Summit, held in India annually, brings together nearly a 1,500 of these stakeholders from around the world to discuss, debate and create a roadmap for development. The Forum expanded to Africa in 2013 and to Southeast Asia in 2015.

Since its inception in 2009, it has connected over 400 enterprises to investors and funders, and built an engaged community of over 20,000.

The Position :

- The Senior Associate will work closely with the Regional Manager of Sankalp Forum to support and implement the expansion in India, including the annual Global Sankalp Summit hosted in India.

Your responsibilities will include, but not be restricted to :

Business Development :

- Identify and track relationship database of potential partners (both financial and non-financial) for Sankalp, across corporate, foundations, multilaterals, investors, incubators, like-minded associations, universities and media

- Work with the Regional Manager in converting existing partnership opportunities / leads through relationship building, research, proposal preparation, on-ground follow up & partner communication

- Create partnership tools, communication documents and proposals to assist in outreach activities for Sankalp Forum and the Summit

- Suggest ideas, new formats and business opportunities for Sankalp to pursue expansion

Execution and Operations :

- Work closely with the Intellecap and Sankalp leadership team to help design and implement the Global Summit structure, theme, format, speakers, media engagement, delegate participation, partner roles, and coordinate with vendors and external agencies.

- Directly manage client projects and relationships in India, besides the Global Summit

- Work with the Regional Manager on sponsor / partner relationships & communication, as well as on ensuring completion of all partner deliverables and commitments.

- Coordinate with other regional managers to help implement Sankalp Summits and initiatives in Africa and Southeast Asia
