Mandatory Work Experience Requirements (if any)

- Preferably one/two projects in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, S&OP, Demand-Supply Balancing, Production Planning / Scheduling, Inventory Optimization/ Leading the supply planning function (demand planner/ supply planner) in an organization

- Process knowledge of SC Planning/ Optimization

Exposure to Tools (if any) - Preferred

- Systems functional knowledge on any SC Planning applications like i2, Manugistics, SAP APO, Oracle etc.

Preferred Skill-sets :

- Understanding of Supply Chain Planning Processes/ Enablers

- Process mapping and documentation skills

- Strong communication skills. Can lead conversations with client stakeholders

- Strong command of MS Office Portfolio

- Strong Problem solving and analytical skills

Purpose of the Job :

The IPF group focuses on helping clients with Integrated Supply Chain Planning & Fulfillment Strategy to improve key performance metrics. IPF practice is responsible for developing and implementing strategies, best practice methodologies, enabling technology solutions, and change management programs to help manage Supply Chain Planning and Fulfillment function more effectively and efficiently. IPF professionals focus on delivering comprehensive business solutions across various industries adding significant value and delivering benefits with an emphasis on the positive impact on the organization's bottom-line.

Work independently in client facing situations as well as part of larger project teams in the design, development and implementation of new and improved business processes and enabling technology.

Demonstrate understanding of core supply chain planning processes and best practices to help an organization improve outcomes.

- Production Planning & Master Scheduling

- Sales & Operations Planning

- Service Parts Planning

- Supply Chain Assessment

- Supply Chain Strategy

Responsibility :

- Apply fundamentals of issue-based problem solving and supports efforts to structure and analyze issues.

- Contribute to creation of issue trees.

- Distinguish "critical" versus "interesting" material for solving a defined problem.

- Undertake basic research on client's business, market, competitors, etc.

- Organize research materials, creates an audit trail and documents assumptions.

- Selects and reconciles key facts from different data sources.

- Make inferences when available information is insufficient.

- Apply basis statistics.

- Interpret data in context of industry and company-specific issues.

- Describe how high performance in key functional areas contributes to value creation for clients.

- Use insights into industry technology trends, functional challenges and competitive issues to shape client solutions.
