Role Title: Senior Manager, Performance Marketing ( Google )
Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled Google Performance Marketing Lead to spearhead our digital marketing efforts and drive user acquisition, conversion, and retention through the Google Ads platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in developing and executing successful performance marketing strategies preferred within the financial services sector. They should be a data-driven marketer, adept at analyzing campaign metrics and making data-backed decisions. The Google Performance Marketing Lead will be responsible for managing a team of specialists and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to achieve our business objectives.
Roles & Responsibilities:- Develop and implement comprehensive performance marketing strategies on the Google Ads platform to acquire and retain customers for our insuretech products.
- Plan, execute, and optimize Google Ads campaigns, including search, display, video, and app campaigns.
- Stay updated with the latest Google Ads features and best practices to ensure optimal campaign performance.
- Lead and mentor a team of performance marketing specialists, providing guidance, mentorship, and conducting performance evaluations.
- Collaborate with the content and design teams to create compelling ad creatives and landing pages that drive conversions.
- Conduct A/B testing and multivariate experiments on Google Ads campaigns to enhance performance and ROI.
- Monitor and analyze KPIs specific to Google Ads, such as Quality Score, Click-Through Rate (CTR), and Conversion Rate, to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Work closely with the analytics team to ensure accurate tracking, reporting, and effective attribution modeling for Google Ads campaigns.
- Manage budget allocation, forecasting, and reporting for Google Ads initiatives.
- Establish and nurture relationships with Google representatives and other relevant partners to stay abreast of platform updates and opportunities.
Qualifications:- Master's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. Preferred from Tier 1 /2 management institutes.
- Work with complete ownership and ability. Previous experience in a fast-paced startup and the ability to work under ambiguity is preferred.
- Proven experience (6-10 years) in performance marketing & digital advertising platforms, with a track record of driving measurable results with proficiency in handling platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, and other relevant channels.
- Strong proficiency in web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and marketing automation platforms.
- Demonstrated experience in managing and leading a team of performance marketing specialists.
- Exceptional analytical skills and a data-driven mindset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong project management and organizational abilities.
