KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : 

Sales : 

1 Establishing sales objectives

2 Expertise in channel sale and institutional sales.

3 Delivering stakeholder value.

4 To increase volume of sales and Quality of Sales by emphasizing and ensuring on day-to-day delivery of results.

5 Identifying gaps in sales process

Marketing: 

1 Market mapping - Identifying new markets for business development potential;

2 Enhancing sales and market share in highly competitive market situations;

3 To build up price premium as well as Brand Enhancement;

Strategic planning : 

1 Capable of SWOT analysis.

2 Progressive & always ahead to the business plan on month to month basis.

3 Managing marketing and sales operations for achieving increased business growth in line with corporate objectives.

4 Delivering strategic solutions to complex sales.

5 Create 3-5 years strategy for organizational growth.

Market Intelligence

1 Competitive intelligence to reduce business risks and rise to a higher level in the market with the goal of higher revenue and profit.

2 Analyzing the business and market situation and handling trading, network, logistics, branding and pricing.

3 Exploring the business potential avenues.

4 Monitoring competitors' activities and devise effective counter measures.

5 Efficiency in analysing Consumer behaviours and timely action plan

Team Management

1 Developing junior colleagues through empowerment.

2 On the job training as well as Training and Development program.

3 Creating and sustaining a dynamic environment that fosters development opportunities and motivates high performance amongst team members.

4 Nurturing organization with limited resources into an entity at national level.

Cross functional coordination

1 Supervise the channel to ensure timely supplies;

2 Proactively work with the cross-functional team to translate opportunities into actionable plans

Required qualification and skill set:

Aspects Essential Desirable

Qualification MBA Sales and Marketing from Top Universities is preferable (or) Strong domain knowledge with Post Graduate sales and marketing from reputed university.

BE, B.Tech or equivalent with MBA is desirable

Experience

(1) 7-13 years of experience in sales and min 5-6 years in team management with South India exposure

(2) Should have working experience with family run professional organization. Industry exposure or Building Materials / FMCG market exposure

Skills:

(1) Microsoft office tools usage, Domain knowledge, Industry contact

(2) Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both in writing and verbally. Functional expertise on policies and tariffs on relevant segment

Languages Fluency in English and Hindi must Knowledge of Southern India regional languages.
