CANDIDATE PROFILE
- The successful candidate should bring experience that establishes credibility and maintain a presence / delivery that is confident and assured. The objective of the inside sales consultant is to reach out to key prospects from relevant industry verticals and help fix a sales meeting or a product demo.
- To accomplish this, the Inside Sales Consultant must have a strong desire to leverage their communication skills and sales skills, including the ability to solicit business requirements.
- The Inside sales Consultant will focus on various data points like the navigator and an authentic database available in the market that reduce the time to reach the right contacts across the named industry verticals across India. As such, Inside sales Consultant will collaborate on cross functional initiatives and will assist in conducting webinars, seminars which will increase the outreach in India. Customer profiling, SWOT Analysis, participation in Seminars as sponsors are also the key responsibilities for the inside sales consultant.
We are looking for someone who;
- Proven track record in software inside sales and sales
- Able to develop strong relationships
- Identify appropriate database and experience of using Sales Navigator
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Identify opportunities for sales
- Build qualified prospect database wherever required
- Establish conversations with key decision makers (Business Heads /CxOs/at par) via phone and e-mail and schedule appointments for SM
- Research, plan, and incorporate insightful talking points for each contact
- Collaborate with SM to determine necessary strategic sales approach and edit/improvise as required
- Post sales presentation follow-ups towards convincing prospects
- Keep Salesforce updated with all prospect details and important notes
- Qualify marketing leads from social media, website etc., explain the product and schedule appointments for SM
- Understand our service in depth and communicate the same to the potential clients
- Be abreast with changing trends and news that can be strategically used to create talking points for prospects
- To generate new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold-calls/emails.
- Data Mining and segmenting it in different buckets for calling up and building funnel leading in lead generation
- Stakeholder mapping in key industries/segments (account mapping).
- To promote the whitepapers or case-studies on various proposition through webinars/Social / events etc to generate leads
- General platform demo to increase stickiness of interested buyers and fixing appointment for sales to pursue
- Identify clients with one of the value propositions and qualify the leads to sales to identify opportunity
- Follow up on leads generated through various client events/Marketing actions
- Web based enquiries to be solicited and identify need to explore further
- Identify and manage database of strategic clients via sales navigator and reach relevant stakeholder for appointment
- Measurable contribution to increase in qualified opportunities surfaced for India (according to quota)
- Team player and Individual contributor
Knowledge, Experience and Qualifications
Knowledge
- Good understanding of competitive software environments
- Solid experience as a technical presales consultant/manager for medium to large software organisations.
- Knowledge of related applications, relational database and web technology.
- Understanding of the Marketing Technology Vendor software products and market
- Intermediate programming experience in HTML and other web based technologies is an advantage

Experience
- Min 4-6 years- experience of consistently Software Selling Experience, preferred Application Selling
- Extensive experience with a local or international vendor environment is highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas and analysis results effectively both verbally and in writing to technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong negotiating and influencing skills
- Excellent communication, presentation and writing skills Strong interpersonal skills
- Motivated to meet and exceed stretch targets
- Ability to make the right judgments in the face of complexity and uncertainty
- Excellent relationship and networking skills across our different business and geographies
