Responsibilities:

- The role will be responsible for ensuring that the experiences promised to the customer are delivered by managing the Production line & Supply chain teams. Primary responsibilities would be to achieve beyond targeted TATs through a proactive identification and resolution of issues. They would need to constantly reimagine a better way of doing things by looking ahead at the business needs and then identifying how it can be addressed. They would need to plan the resources, timelines, risks and budget required to meet the end goals of experience delivery.

Duties:

1) Team management:

- Strategise and implement Lean Inventory Management practices & automation that is needed to monitor the performance, productivity and governance of the entire Supply chain for Retail and Enterprise business lines

- Prepare SOPs for SCM function by working closely with Technology, Product, Business and Other Operations teams

- Team management - Security, RMS, Pre-Production Line, FGS, Warehousing & Distribution & Logistics teams/partners). Take care of recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees; administering scheduling, rostering; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; enforcing policies and procedures; define KPIs and review team & performance.

- Working closely with 3 PL partner teams in logistics and warehousing - Defining processes and adherence

- Work Closely with the Operations teams (Backend and Front end) to establish the SLAs for business operations are delivered as promised - by ensuring SCM plays its part

- Daily training and assessment of team about issues handling, resolution, customer communication, processes, gaps identified till previous day.

Support tools and process automation:

- Drive automation to track tickets generated through various sources - calls, emails,WhatsApp, etc.

- Put in place processes and constantly measure their efficacy towards delivering support in a timely manner to the customer. Ensure adherence to process, identify gaps and fix the same to improve efficiency and performance.

2) Performance: Constantly beating TATs and redefining new ones.

- Significant accuracy and predictability in deliveries with dramatic reduction in turn-around times.

- Responsible for customer retention once the customer is live on platform.

- Responsible for optimizing team performance as per SLAs and processes defined

- Managing cost within budgets

3) Reports & Reviews:

- Timely team performance report to all stakeholders - Banks, Partners, Customers, Sales and Leadership teams.

- Review Reports available on Sales Force & Fresh Desk to identify delays & risks, risk mitigation plan, to ensure targets are met.

- Set up and carry out periodic reviews with all teams and stakeholders to review performance basis data available & identify gaps and take corrective actions

4) Production Line

- Manage Terminal Configuration & testing at National Stores & Regional Hubs in close co-ordination with the Technical Teams

- Inventory Management - Planning & procurement, Stock taking, Upkeep of all assets including inventory of terminals & accessories and consumables at all hubs/warehouses

- Dispatches and receipts of stocks - Book Keeping

- Repairs of damaged terminals and control cost as budgeted

- Manage Delivery & Logistics including reverse logistics & handling courier agencies & their contract negotiations

- Ensure TAT and process compliance at all times

Duties/Activities/Interactions :

- Implement a fully functional supply chain, production and supply infrastructure.

- Maintenance and accuracy of data in computer system (input and issuance from inventory, labor reporting, startup of quoting modules, etc.)

- Inventory control including management of suppliers, stores.

- Forecasting of raw material and finished goods.

- Production planning/scheduling.

- Purchasing.

- Distribution, logistics and warehousing.

- Shipping and receiving.

- Implement Lean Manufacturing concepts and techniques.

- Constantly interface with and provide feedback to Technology, Product Management regarding future roadmaps.

- Provide regular reporting to the leadership team on progress against the business plan, risks and support required.

- Keep the business relevant & ahead of market by constantly interpreting customer, market & technology trends and providing feedback to the leadership team.

Skills & qualifications:

- Engineering graduate/post-graduate with good academic record.

- 12+ years of experience in Supply chain roles in manufacturing businesses or FMCG/Retail business, with at least 3+ years of experience as head of the function

- Should have demonstrated ability to carry out change management in large teams.

- Should have demonstrated experience in managing crisis situations.

- Should have demonstrated ability to channel needs of diverse groups of users into common goals.

- Strong in planning, data-based decision making and problem solving.

- Ability to drive process improvement for sustained and predictable results.

- Should be able to train, coach and mentor a multi-layered team.

- Ability to take tough decisions and take ownership of the outcome.

- Results-oriented with a sense of urgency and passion for success.

- Should have excellent communication, time management, listening, presentation and writing skills.

- Extremely customer focused and having a dream to give best customer experience.

- Excellent track record of support processes improvements which improved customers- experiences.
