Qualification:
- Full time MBA in Human Resources from with 8-12 years of experience preferably in a multi- national company (familiarity with the agri-sector would be nice to have)
Role Description:
- To work closely with the Group HR Head Officer to assist in HR matters arising out of corporate restructuring
- Align, build and supervise the HR function across the group (that is across 7 countries/more than 20 companies)
- Lead post merger integration of newly acquired projects and companies
Scope
- Analyse trends and metrics in partnership with Leadership/Managers to develop solutions, programs and policies
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations
- Provides day to day performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counselling, career development, disciplinary actions)
- Ensure a robust Performance Management process and build a high performing organisation
- Maintain an accurate and efficient payroll procedure, ensure compliance adherence
- Lead HR related internal audit (including compliance) for all operating companies , evaluate audit findings and work on recommendations along with business HR
- Assist international employees with expatriate assignments and related HR matters
- Design, plan, and implement international HR programs and policies, including staffing, compensation, benefits employee relations and training programs
- Assist business unit structuring & workforce planning
- Work on the talent management framework and succession planning of critical positions
- Participate in evaluation and monitoring of success of training programs and ensure training objectives are met
- Manage HR budgeting
- Work as an employee engagement champion
Technical Competencies/Specialization:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with labour compliance matters, audits
- Ability to work independently, manage projects, to prioritize and complete tasks with attention to detail
- Ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues
