Role: Content Operations Manager

Summary:

The Manager of Content Operations would lead the content operations team at Soli. This practice functions as the content operations hub within Soli's growing content ecosystem. A critical role in the content team, this experienced leader will be responsible for the full lifecycle of Soli's upload cycles, content vendor management, digital asset management, tagging, CMS oriented performance optimization. The role aligns cross-functionally with product, L&D, production houses, translation agencies, knowledge partners and other major stakeholder groups at Soli as well as 3rd party partnerships. Program management, process planning, workflow efficiency, and exceptional communication are second nature to this Content Operations Manager. The successful candidate is passionate about video supply chain, is courageous in pursuing large-scale challenges, and possesses deep knowledge of content operational models deployed for the digital video distribution industry.

Responsibilities:

- Own and manage the upload workstream: Oversee the upload team as they upload all new, updated and corrected content into the CMS. Responsible for reviewing content in the CMS and keeping track of version history. This includes content coming in from all of our sources.

- Maintain the master content tracker: The G-Sheet which acts as a single source of truth for the content team, letting them know what content is available, published to the CMS or under review.

- Own & manage the translation workstream: Co-ordinating with the translation agency to process translations; getting those translations reviewed & push them to the app. This covers all text translation on the app - Content & UI elements.

- Own and manage the Listen Interactions workstream: Generating listen interactions (PLAY.HT), and publishing them to the app. Making corrections and updates when needed.

- Maintain SOP's to document the upload process, standardise practices that lead to more efficient upload & update cycles.

- Co-ordinate with internal stakeholders to push content updates during QA cycles to ensure a fast turn-around.

- Gather, analyse, and report data to provide success measurements and optimization opportunities.

- Balance projects and upload team workloads daily with strong delegation, adjusting assignments & deadlines accordingly.

- Manage day-to-day operations of asset management, translations and attaining resources upon request.

- Stays up-to-speed on relevant industry trends and innovations in content operations and video supply chain.

Qualifications: -

- 7+ years' experience and understanding of digital video supply chain, digital production management, creative operations and/or creative traffic, program management and/or agency experience.

- Can work hands-on with team to manage content lifecycle, content audit process and inventory maintenance, taxonomy management, content tagging, and metadata management.

- Excellent cross-functional collaboration with exceptional planning and operational skills.

- Exceptional communicator with a positive team spirit & keen listening skill.

- A deep appreciation for quality and the ability to think creatively.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ever-developing environment.

- Detail-oriented, organized, efficient with time management

- Experience at a data-driven agile/analytics environment a major plus.

Education:

- Postgraduate or Graduate with relevant experience in a related field.
