INKONIQ is looking for talented Drupal Architect is a full-time position that participates in all phases of the project lifecycle and consistently delivers business value to our clients. The Drupal Architect advances best practices, and helps set direction for the technical aspects of our practice, specifically web and Drupal development. The ideal candidate has a passion for the web and higher education and is a champion for Drupal.

Job Responsibilities

Custom programming and web application development for Drupal

Plan, Design, Develop and Maintain Drupal based website

Lead the team of fresh and experienced talent

Take ownership of complex Drupal code, be hands on and lead the team from front.

Work with the customer on defining the requirements and how it will be realized.

Participate in Technical reviews and interact with 3rd parties on requirements and design.

Provides technical leadership and assumes overall accountability for a successful implementation phase on all client projects.

In partnership with technical leads, helps set direction for our technology practice.

Partners with project managers and other web developers to successfully manage these client relationships.

Required Skills

Proficient in Drupal, including custom module development, key contributed modules and core API

Minimum 5+ years of Drupal hands-on development experience.

Experience with object-oriented design and data modeling

Experience of XML-RPC, REST, SOAP and other web services.

Familiarity with user experience design principles and processes

Experience with third-party applications/tools and integration

Hands-on experience in designing and developing websites which support multi browsers, multiple devices and multiple languages.

Designed, Developed & Maintained at least 4 -5 websites, out of which 1-2 are larger Drupal based websites.

Experience in creating, tuning and maintaining high traffic and high performance sites

Experience in employing CDN, caching etc

Experience in sizing infrastructures for given non-functional requirement

In Depth knowledge in Drupal is mandatory

Knowledge on SDLC processes like Agile & RUP

Experience integrating open source and third-party applications into existing systems.

Familiarity with source control systems such as Subversion, etc.

Results-oriented, reliable, able to work under pressure

Ability to both collaborate with team members and to work independently

Eager to embrace current and emerging web technologies
