Design Excellence
1. Build storyboards, wireframes, visual designs and user flows to conceptualize designs in order to accurately convey project plans to stakeholders
2. Leverage insights from data and user feedback to design tailored experiences that achieve desired outcomes
3. Maintains and suggests evolutions of our Design Principles and existing style guides with a holistic consideration for their platform's future.
4. Delivery: Ensure hygiene while shipping designs for development by embedding guidelines, user stories and documentation of a product experience/behaviour.
5. Help define goals and tasks, delegate work effectively and set priorities (wherever required)
6. Actively manage and prioritize work in order to deliver designs in a timely manner
7. Participate in discovery and research efforts with UX designers/researchers, product managers, and other designers to test and validate your design concepts and solutions.
8. Partner with engineering to ensure that the implementation and user experience are of highquality.
9. Be the design ambassador and articulate design decisions to product design, engineering, and product.
10. Build beautiful, innovative, inspiring products that people love to use
11. Advocate for and practice inclusive design and accessibility
Cross Function Collaboration:
1. Independently collaborate with cross-functional team members to develop and deliver customerfocused products/solutions.
2. Identify & execute collaborative sessions with stakeholders for alignment on goals, objectives, solutioning and conflict resolution.
Communication:
1. Be proactive in communication with your stakeholders and ensure dev-support of design assets etc. throughout the development cycle. Measure project's delivery, success and impact.
2. Proactively share relevant information with stakeholders that may impact your planning (incl. - Tech/ PMs, Business, Sales/ ops and Customer service).
Team building:
1. Create design forums to inculcate the culture of learning from within & outside the team. E.g., Knowledge sharing sessions & design sprints, etc.
2. Mentor junior-level designers and contribute to team-building efforts
What we are looking for
1. 2+ years of relevant work experience in Product Design, storytelling, Interaction Design, Prototyping and/or Information Architecture. Proven track record of leading large-scale projects that have a positive business impact.
2. The desire and capacity to put oneself in the shoes of the customer to achieve customer centricity, whether the customer is internal or external.
3. Problem-solving skills and familiarity with technical constraints and limitations as they apply to designing for platforms such as desktop and mobile (Android and iOS).
4. Experience working with and maintaining design systems and component libraries.
5. Experience designing prototypes or hi-fidelity wire-frames for complex digital solutions and/or workflows.
6. Ability to lead creative sessions, group discussions, and partner design reviews.
7. Experience interacting successfully with engineering managers, product leaders, and researchers while working with design peers across a variety of product areas
8. Strong presentation and verbal communication skills.
9. Interest in the Architecture, Interior Design, Construction, and infrastructure industries.
10. Excellent advocate for the goals and vision of the design team.
