Position Overview :
The Sr. Communications Lead's key focus is to create a client-centric point of view throughout the Infosys large deal client pursuit lifecycle (RFP, client interactions, best and final stage, etc.). This includes effective messaging through various channels and through tangible pursuit deliverables, such as executive summaries, key proposal documents, client presentations, and other client-facing artifacts. It requires close collaboration with global client facing and delivery leads within all business segments.
Locations : India - Bangalore, Pune, Chennai (preferred)
Responsibilities :
- Plan and create client centric point of view via content and graphic design in collaboration with global sales and client account partners for large deal pursuits
- Summarize and build strong differentiating messages into pursuit documents by thoroughly understanding human element of our relationship, problem statement and how we will demonstrate value, and differentiate Infosys solution.
- Ensure consistent messaging throughout every phase of the pursuit lifecycle
- Manage the pursuit team to strict timelines to accomplish quality output for RFP responses, orals presentations and client meetings, etc.
- Collaborate with designers to create visual identities, and other visual graphics in support of the pursuit
- Provide recommendations/feedback to pursuit owners on content design including sales, client services, delivery
- Mentor junior writers
- Support other Corporate Design initiatives as requested
Requirements :
- Understand and articulate the client/end-user point of view/values
- Persuasive written communication skills - content writing and grammar; ability to adopt the style, tone and voice of different English styles (e.g. American, British, Australian).
- Excellent verbal articulation
- Ensure consistent and concise messaging, flow and structure in documents
- Ability to visualize data/information in meaningful ways
- Ability to work independently and persistently to manage projects in a dynamic environment
- Ability to collaborate well in teams while maintaining ownership and accountability for one's own work
- Possess a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail
- Be a proactive, bold, and fearless champion for effective communication and ensure hundred percent focus on quality

- Hands-on expertise of working with digital and print artifacts
Competencies :
- Ability to work effectively globally and virtually across large teams
- Program management skills to effectively manage deliverables to strict deadlines
- Ability to articulate and write technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and achieves a common understanding among a broad audience of readers - in simple English.
- Presence and strong interpersonal skills, with established credibility at management levels
- Expertise in using Word, PowerPoint and Excel for creation of pursuit documents and tools/templates
- Competitive, can do attitude with creative problem solving skills
- General understanding of IT/BPO sourcing and delivery models (optional)
Experience :
- Eight plus years of work experience in a similar role, preferably from a branding or marketing agency, or IT/BPO provider in a marketing, writer, or proposal development role.
Education :
- Graduate in Marketing Communications, Journalism, English Literature / Writing
- MBA - Marketing (desired)
