Purpose / Essence of the role: Define Product strategy, validate & prioritize business opportunities, define value proposition, drive technology & functionality evaluation of the Products, review all RFP responses, put a framework for competency development & Knowledge Management methodology, drive market intelligence for F&A and provide Thought Leadership.
Responsibilities:
1. Competitive and market analysis: Reviews market competitive intelligence for F&A domain and validate gap analysis in order to identify Products that can be developed at BPO level.
2. Define Market strategy: Define and institutionalize a Go-to-market strategy and program framework in order to define and develop products that will help differentiate Infosys BPO Offerings
3. Financial modelling: Provide direction to Sales and Solutioning Managers on Financial and Commercial models and work with Alliances/Platforms Head in building integrated financial models for Key Solutions
4. Develop Value proposition, Infosys differentiator in order to build a Business Plan
- Validate and prioritize solutions opportunities: Prioritize alliance opportunities and validate with client in order to decide investments. Allocation of effort and resources on new alliances
5. Define the solution: Help define and contribute to the alliance terms in order to have a differentiated and sustainable solutions based on alliances or an independent alliance only
6. Define commercials & pricing models: Work with Internal teams in developing Financial Models for the Solutions and Key Solutions
7. Creating collaterals: Create, direct and review collateral creation in order to ensure suitable articulation of Key Solutions value proposition
8. Understanding client business context: Engages with client to understand requirements and drive an Key Solutions / Products based solution approach where appropriate in order to develop a custom approach which enables business development
9. RFP Process: Reviews and guide the creation of the Key Solution specific RFP response components and guides the Bid managers to on Pricing for the product in order to win the deal
10. Define Product / Solution - specific contract terms in client contract. Negotiate and finalize in order to complete alliance agreement
11. Transformation process: Drive Solutions to lead productivity improvement in order to deliver transformation in existing clients with traditional BPO
What are we looking for in you:
Basic Requirements (Must have)
- Degree in B.com + MBA in Finance / Chartered Accountancy / Cost Accountancy/ M. Tech with minimum work experience of at least 10 - 12 years. Desirable 14 years of relevant Experience as described in the Job
Description
- Good knowledge in Finance and Accounts in BPO, Consulting or Industries (Manufacturing, Services, Retail, FSI etc.)
- Must have managed the entire Product Life Cycle from Conceptualizing, Product design, Product Development, Business case creation, Proof of Concept creation, Use-case creation, Developing Go-to-market Strategy
Preferred requirements (Good to have)
- Run the product program and manage key client accounts and customer implementations
- Experience in high end F&A such as financial modeling, budgeting, performance management, improvement studies, financial risk management, would be an added advantage.
- Understanding of Commercial Models relevant to F&A (e.g. Cost Break down, Business case analysis, TCO analysis, etc.)
- Experience on F&A platforms e.g. SAP-SRM, Oracle etc.
