Key Skills Required:

This role requires the following skills, expertise and experience:

- Strong consulting skills and business acumen in addition to quantitative and analytical capabilities.

- Banking Operations Domain Expertise in any of the following (at the minimum) including Banking (Lending: Mortgages, Consumer & Commercial; Cards: Consumer/Merchants; Deposits & Payments, Risk Management), Capital Markets (Asset management/servicing, Broker Operations, Wealth Management, KYC etc.)

- Exposure to working for a Bank or any Bank's Captive Operations

- Demonstrated experience working with complex business process outsourcing, originating or delivering managed service opportunities.

- Flexibility to ensure working hours overlap with operations team as required to identify & execute transformation activities

Preferred Skills:

- Strong Consulting & program management skills, demonstrated experience in managing teams across functions & geographies

- Experience in Consulting / Big 4 firms

Education Qualification:

- MBA from a Tier college with minimum defined grades and at least 8 years of experience after MBA in the fields related to the Job Description.

About the Role:

The role of a Consultant - Business Transformation Services is to assist clients to determine their business issues and recommend solutions to drive business value. It uses in-depth consulting skills and business knowledge aligned to business objectives, processes, measurements and tools to analyze client business challenges, formulate hypotheses and test conclusions to determine appropriate solutions.

Responsibilities:

As a Consultant in the BTS team, you will:

- Lead and manage large and complex Innovation & Transformation engagements with our Financial Services clients (Banking & Capital Markets) in understanding 'as is' business processes, design 'to-be' processes, analyze/ capture client requirements and pain areas by conducting workshops if necessary, perform fit gap analysis, carry out benchmarking studies, resolve complex requirements.

- Provide consulting support to solve business problems in Banking Operations (especially Lending - Mortgages & Commercial, Consumer Banking - Cards/Payments & Risk Management operations) for our global clients leveraging Transformation methodologies and assets.

- Lead and participate large-scale transformation projects .Work proactively with Client stakeholders to refine their current business processes or develop a new operating model in line with competitive and market forces. Also identify strategic capabilities needed to create and sustain one or more sources of competitive advantage.

- These capabilities may come in the form of process, information technology, organization enablement, or knowledge. They identify best practices and client performance gaps, if any.

- Leverage tools to identify, align, and change the factors that affect performance, stability, and teaming and develop comprehensive transformation recommendations.

- Develop methodologies to support transformation projects, create tools, templates, frameworks & other knowledge artifacts
