About our Client - Our client is a large Retail banking firm with over 25,000 professionals with offices in over 17 countries and about $3 billion in revenues. Information security being of prime importance to the banking industry, our client employs some of the best professionals in this domain.

Job Description - The IT Security Manager will report directly to the Director of IT Security and cover a broad role that comprises:

- Security operations - monitoring of incoming alerts, management of monitoring devices, incident analysis and management of security vendors

- Security advisory - continuous monitoring of security trends and stand as an adviser to the company for its future security strategies

- Project delivery - be a part of security projects steering committees and play an integral role in the execution and management of projects and

- Conducting planned and surprise security audits time to time based on the criticality level of the functional area involved

The Successful Candidate - The successful IT Security Manager must meet the following requirements:

- At least 5 years in IT security operations

- Professional IT Security certifications are preferred (CISSP, CISA, CISM etc)

- Experience in networking environment

- Good technical knowledge in system/network technology and system/network security (i.e. server operating systems, firewalls, IDS, IPS, VPN, TCPIP protocols etc)
