Information Security Leader - NIT/BITS/IIT

The Information Security Leader will be responsible for creating & executing Information Security Policy, running security assessments and corrective actions in group companies, improving information security maturity and evaluation cum deployment of new information security solutions. This position will also be responsible for ensuring data/IP protection of group companies from internal and external threats.

- This will largely be an Individual contributor role

- Should be ready to travel at least 10 days in a month

The Information Security Leader shall have the following responsibilities:

- Create and execute information security technology policy

- Ensure all IS controls are in place in group companies

- Run assessment of all existing IS practices and create/execute improvement plan

- Improve IS maturity over time

- Ensure data/IP protection from internal and external threats

- Ensure proper information security practices implementation & compliance to safeguard intellectual property

- Ensure network security from all threats

- Evaluate products, solutions and partners for IS projects and monitor their progress

- Create IS awareness among CXOs, senior leaders and other users

- Follow appropriate change control and configuration management

- Create and maintain project documentation; budget monitoring

- Responsible for security products like anti-virus, firewall, Web Filtering etc.

Qualification & Skills(Critical)

- Bachelors degree in engineering from premier institute (Only NIT's, BIT, Thapar, Manipal, IIT's)

- Must have certification like - CISA, CSSP, CISM, CEH, ISO 27001, ITIL (any of them)

- Should be ready to travel at least 10 days in a month
