The Talent Acquisition (TA) team is a global organization under the auspices of Human Resources (HR). HR is the people business of Informatica. With TA professionals located in India, Europe and North America, our team is responsible for providing the highest level of recruiting services by partnering with the business to define, design and deliver talent solutions that address the current and future needs of the enterprise. We identify and implement industry best practices and continually refine our talent acquisition strategies, processes and capabilities to gain competitive advantage and maximize our results. We work directly with senior leaders and hiring managers to drive quality hires for hard-to-fill roles at all levels around the United States. The TA team in India reports to the Head of Talent and is aligned by business function; e.g., RnD, Sales, Marketing, Corporate, Global Customer Support (GCS), Professional Services, IT, etc. This client facing role will be based in our Bangalore office in India and will be involved with technical recruiting across several business units.

Our Ideal Candidate :

- You are a skilled and motivated recruiting professional who can manage the full cycle of the recruitment process including sourcing strategies, hands on research, candidate development, client management, etc. for high tech companies.

- You have experience working effectively with a dedicated sourcing team, then guiding hiring managers and candidates through the selection and interview process.

- You have a record of recruiting high-performing professionals in IT, R&D, Engineering, Emerging Products and/or Professional Services for roles that include, but are not limited to, Developers, Engineers, Business Analysts, Architects, Product Marketing and Product Management professionals, Project and Program Managers, QA professionals, Professional Services Consultants etc.

- You are skilled at building trust-based relationships with business leaders and gaining the reputation for being viewed as a thought partner on recruiting-related issues. You are able to create an engaging, compelling recruitment process that drives candidate appreciation of the company and its career opportunities, whether they join or not.

- You are a business-savvy, innovative problem solver with a positive, - can do- attitude. You are a highly effective communicator and have well-honed influencing and negotiating skills.

- You are able to balance multiple priorities and can understand/meet the expectations and deliverables of a diverse set of stakeholders.

- You understand the big picture but are also detail-oriented enough to create and execute plans that achieve the desired outcomes.

- You consider yourself to be flexible and adaptable, comfortable with change and ambiguity, and are readily adaptable to recruiting policies, tools, and processes.

- You have a strong client service orientation; can maintain excellent relationships with hiring managers, candidates and the community at-large.

- You demonstrate the wide degree of creativity, near- and long-term recruiting vision, business understanding, and personal organization to be successful in this role.

Your Responsibilities :

- Manage full cycle recruitment process in a fast paced, deadline driven environment including strategy, candidate identification/management, sourcing, client management, immigration/mobility support, offers, background checks, professional references, etc.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of recruiting and selection processes resulting in a strong customer (client and/or candidate) experience

- Identify client needs, embrace a discipline customer service approach; display functional and business unit agility

- Utilize best practices; generate or revise methodologies related to process, tools, strategy as appropriate

- Foster relationships and ongoing communication with key constituents, including hiring managers, HR business partners, Immigration Manager, Comp and Benefits teams, etc.

- Develop and maintain a robust and diverse pipeline of candidates; create and implement new and unique candidate generation strategies for both passive and active candidates; leverage utilize current and innovative sourcing methods including social networking, Internet sites, employee referrals, alumni groups, ads. etc.

- Be proficient with Applicant Tracking Systems and other recruiting tools and technology

- Provide a great candidate experience and act as a candidate advocate as appropriate; stay abreast of the competitive landscape as it impacts current hiring needs

- Utilize a variety of interviewing techniques and educate hiring managers on same; ensure receipt of prompt and comprehensive, fact-based interview feedback

- Understand expected performance metrics and qualitative results; recognize/anticipate when expectations might not be met and take appropriate action to improve the outcome

- Understand and fully comply with laws, regulations and internal processes, policies and procedures

- Keep up-to-date with best practices and trends associated with talent acquisition; share knowledge with colleagues and hiring managers as appropriate

- Contribute to global recruiting team initiatives

- Influence, not just satisfy, hiring managers and HR business partners in making optimal selection decisions balancing the short and long-term needs of the business

- Looks for opportunities to remove obstacles and implement complex and unique recruiting approaches

- Be an individual with a sense of urgency, a sense of tact, and a focus on quality and results

Your Qualifications :

- At least 6-10 years of experience as an in-house/corporate Technical Recruiter in the high tech industry (agency/retained search experience will be considered); enterprise software company experience highly desirable

- Successful track record or recruiting high performing talent; highly experienced an successful in managing the candidate closure process

- Hands on and expert knowledge in all aspects of full lifecycle recruiting including, but not limited to, sourcing, client and candidate management, qualification, development, offers, immigration support, mobility, professional references; diversity, legal nuances, wage and salary trends, etc.

- Experience with applicant track and CRM systems and willingness to stay abreast of changes and maintain the systems as expected

- Demonstrated technical conversancy and ability to get smart on new topics, source and evaluate candidates accordingly, and qualify them effectively

- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills; proficient in cold-calling

- Well organized, detailed oriented, great planning and execution skills; can multi-task and prioritize in a dynamic environment

- Self-motivated; strong sense of accountability; proven track record of delivering results; ethical

- Demonstrated ability to work and communicate effectively (written and verbal) in a global team environment with technical and business audiences

- Strong facilitation, influencing and negotiating skills

- Previous human resources experience outside of recruiting is highly desirable Looks for opportunities to remove obstacles and implement complex and unique recruiting approaches

- Strong understanding of employment law and interviewing principles

- Undergraduate degree preferred but not required
