Job Description:

As a Video Content Strategist specializing in rich media video content who has a deep understanding of cross platform (web, mobile apps, social media) content, you will play a crucial role in shaping our video footprint across these platforms. You will be responsible for developing a deep understanding of both the brand offering as well as audience needs and behaviors and driving and implementing comprehensive content strategies basis this understanding.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute video and other rich media content plans across platforms- web, app and social media platforms

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including product, tech, marketing) to identify content opportunities, brainstorm on ideas, and ensure alignment with overall business objectives

- Lead the creation of high-quality video content, including but not limited to concept development, scriptwriting, filming, and editing.

- Oversee the production of content, ensuring it is optimized for SEO and user engagement.

- Monitor social media trends, audience behaviors, and industry developments to inform content strategy adjustments and optimizations.

- Analyze content performance metrics and generate reports to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and initiatives.

- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, tools, and best practices in social media and content creation, and incorporate them into our strategy where relevant.

- Manage relationships with external vendors, agencies, and freelancers as needed for content production wherever required

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Mass Communication, Digital Media, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.

- Master's in Business Administration from a reputed/ranked institute

- Proven experience (8-12 years) in developing and executing content strategies for digital platforms, with a focus on video and rich content (stories, reels, AI tool powered content formats)

- Strong portfolio showcasing past such work, including examples of successful campaigns and measurable results.

- Develop different forms of content such as YouTube videos, reports, articles, podcasts, webinars, presentations, e-books etc.

- Deep understanding of the video production process including production tools and software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, as well as high awareness of the changing AI landscape for video creators

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to craft compelling narratives.

- In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.

- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights to optimize content performance.

- Ability to multitask, prioritize projects, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
