Key Responsibilities :
- Budgeting and Strategy : Driving annual budgets and Strategy, comparison of actual performance against the Budget and Strategy, identifying and analyzing variance, and monitoring the implementation of necessary actions.
- Margins, Return on Capital employed : Closely working with Growth Units for improvement of margin through product mix, pricing, and cost optimization; Increase in return on capital employed through optimization of working capital and effective cashflow planning.
- Business Intelligence : Lead BI framework for the organization and its evolution. Identify key metrics, keep track of financial KPIs and develop financial models along with sharp front-end visualization of the analysis to support strategic initiatives. Be the central owner of organization-wide operating and financial data and KPIs.
- Business and Financial Analysis : Analyze key performance indicators in all areas of revenue, operating costs, fixed expenses and capital expenditures time series as well as against budgets and forecasts.
- Financial Statements : Managing the timely preparation and presentation of financial statements and annual reports, ensuring conformance to regulatory accounting standards.
- System, Process, and Policies : Determining financial objectives, designing & implementing systems, policies & procedures to facilitate continuous process improvements to ensure implementation of best practices.
Desired Profile :
- CA/MBA Finance.
- 3 - 7 Years of relevant experience preferably in retail or eCommerce.
- Prior experience having handled a similar role, especially in a rapidly growing organization.
- Resilience and ability to work in a fast-paced environment and absorb pressure when necessary.
- Strong analytical capabilities and exceptional financial modeling and analysis skills.
- Confidence to challenge the status quo with a view to process improvement.
- Previous planning/reporting, operations analysis, and budget/forecasting experience.
- Sound understanding of the Balance Sheet, Income Statement and Cash Flow.
- Knowledge and application of accounting principles.
