We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager to join our finance team with a specialization in taxation. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of relevant experience, along with a CA qualification. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial success of our organization and play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with GST, Income Tax and other regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- GST and Taxation Expertise: Demonstrate a thorough understanding and hands-on experience in both Direct and Indirect taxation, including GST. Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, and optimize tax strategies to minimize liabilities.
- Legal Compliance Oversight: Review and oversee agreements, notices, and other legal documents to ensure accuracy, compliance, and risk mitigation. Collaborate effectively with legal consultants to address any legal matters promptly.
- Secretarial Work Management: Possessing knowledge of secretarial duties is advantageous. Ability to handle secretarial tasks efficiently would be beneficial in supporting organizational governance and compliance requirements.
- Financial Reporting and Analysis: Lead financial reporting processes, including preparation of financial statements, analysis of financial data, and generation of insightful reports for decision-making purposes. Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial information.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Contribute to the budgeting and forecasting processes by providing financial insights, identifying trends, and recommending strategies to achieve financial objectives.
- Internal Controls and Auditing: Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations. Facilitate internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and support.
- Team Leadership and Development: Supervise and mentor finance team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and professional development. Set clear performance expectations and provide constructive feedback to enhance team effectiveness.
- Strategic Financial Planning: Contribute to the development and execution of strategic financial plans aligned with organizational goals. Collaborate with senior management to identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost optimization.
- Financial Risk Management: Identify financial risks and implement appropriate risk mitigation strategies to protect the company's financial interests. Proactively monitor market trends and economic factors that may impact financial performance.
- Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, investors, regulatory authorities, and auditors. Provide timely and accurate financial information to support decision-making and maintain transparency.
Requirements:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent professional designation.
- Proven experience in financial management, preferably in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of GST, taxation laws, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Leadership abilities with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.
