Job Title Industry Research Analyst

Proposed Grade AVP

Location Mumbai - CO

Reporting To Head Industry research & sectoral risk management

Position Responsibilities:

Sr. Key Responsibilities

1. Develop in-house expertise by providing sharp and incisive analysis on all high exposure industries/ sectors in bank's portfolio

2. Sector-agnostic assessment of broad parameters relating to demand-supply scenario, cost structures, competitiveness and regulatory framework

3. Identify sectors that are expected to witness stress or likely to come out of stress based on early warning indicators, industry benchmarks, peer reviews

4. Prepare regular research reports on market dynamics in the relevant industry within the given timeline as well as ensure accuracy of the same

5. Provide medium term outlook on the sectors analyzed

6. Perform portfolio analysis to identify relative financial and operational performance of a company within an industry

7. Develop industry specific financial and operational metrics for credit evaluation

Qualifications and Experience Required:

Qualifications

Essential Chartered Accountant and / or Management Graduate from a known institution.

Experience

Essential Minimum 5-6 years of experience in similar role

Competency Requirements:

1. Technical Skills.

- Proficient in MS Office - Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other systems used within the Bank.

2. Behavioral Skills

- Attribute

- Good writing and oral communication skills with excellent command over English. Conducts duties with good judgment and in good faith

- Ability to work well individually and in teams, share information and support colleagues

- Has good analytical thinking and an eye for detail. Excellent time management capabilities
