Job Description - Reporting to the Director, Industrial Relations, your primary responsibilities will be:
- You will manage labor relations program of organization:
- Analyze collective bargaining agreement to develop interpretation of intent, spirit, and terms of contract.
- You will advice management and union officials in development, application, and interpretation of labor relations policies and practices, according to policy formulated by Director, Industrial Relations.
- You will arrange and schedule meetings between grieving workers, supervisory and managerial personnel and labor union, to investigate and resolve grievances.
- You will prepare statistical reports, using records of action taken concerning grievances, arbitration and mediation cases, and related labor relations activities, to identify problem areas.
- You will monitor implementation of policies concerning wages, hours, and working conditions, to ensure compliance with terms of labor contract.
The Successful Candidate - You must have at least 4 - 8 years of relevant work experience in the Healhcare/Medical Equipment sector. An MBA from a tier I institute specializing in HR and IR is mandatory. Hands-on experience managing grievances, arbitration, mediation, collective bargaining and related labor relations activities is essential. You must have excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders across levels and projects in a global environment.
