Industrial Operations Program - Pharma

SUMMARY OF MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Main responsibility is to coordinate cross functional critical activities within Industrial Operations to deliver the commitments agreed upon in meetings chaired by and/or as requested by the COO

- The responsibility requires to work within various levels of industrial operations, from HODs to shop floor when/as required, to ensure that the actions are identified and implemented at the appropriate level.

- The responsibility requires to consolidate action items from various functions within a tracking system, and to closely monitor progress as appropriate (likely on a weekly basis)

- The IO Program Leader reports back to COO progress made on actions/projects/plans he is held accountable for. He also alerts the COO in case of any bottleneck requiring COO prioritization or decision.

- The IO Program Leader is not in charge of coordinating the production and testing plans for commercial products (which is the role of the Head of Logistics). However, if case of crisis, if specific exceptional-multi department’s activities are required, he may be involved at the request of the COO.

- The IO Program Leader establishes and issues the IO monthly report for the COO

- The IO Program Leader may assist the COO in preparing budget, Long Range Plan, Strategic assessments upon request, and presentation to top management visitors.

- The IO Program Leader may deputize the COO in certain cases, as requested by the COO.

- The IO Program Leader is a member of the IO Management Team.

Experience:

- Good knowledge of GMP vaccine manufacturing (International Standards)

Skills:

- Strong ethics (no deviation allowed), ability to work across levels and departments, ability to highlight issues in order to get them resolved, conflict resolution, ability to bring change in ways of working within a matrix environment, organizational and project management.
