Senior Relationship Manager - Investment Banking [Debt Capital Market]

Primary Job Description / Responsibilities for, Debt Capital Markets:

- Achieving the set Business Targets under various parameters for deal execution.

- Gathering Marketing intelligence on borrower's acceptability among potential lenders/investors and other developments in the market including but not limited to pricing, structures prevalent in the market, etc.

- Sell down / Syndication along with knowledge of the sell down and syndication process.

- Ability to structure products as per lender/investor requirements with understanding of market and customer requirements.

- Preparation of Information Memorandum (with inputs from Processing Team) / other details and sharing with the potential participants with necessary approvals where IBL has underwritten the facility.

- Ensure that the term sheet / deal structure has proper security comforts, legal enforceability, covenants, etc.

- Coordinate for required documentation formalities are completed /executed under Syndication with necessary legal approvals / internal approvals etc.

- Attending various meetings and visits as a part of syndication / underwriting process.

- Coordinating and providing support to Relationship Managers for sourcing and structuring deals.

- Providing support to Reporting Manager for maintaining relationship with various Lenders / groups / agencies for sourcing new business opportunities / proposals for participation in syndication by IndusInd Bank Limited ("IBL") and others in IBL underwritten deals.

- Maintain proper MIS and data and collect / share applicable fee / charges from time to time.

- Connecting, Coordinating and building relationships with various intermediaries important for the business like (LLC / LIE / Lenders / Security Trustee/ Agents) etc.

- Updating oneself and the team with any changes in the regulatory framework affecting business.

- Develop thorough knowledge of all Internal Process Notes, Disclosures & Audit related aspects.

- Comply with all internal and external regulatory guidelines without an exception.

Professional Skills:

- Relevant experience in debt syndication related business.

- Strong business, technical and analytical acumen.

- Negotiating skills with lenders, borrowers, external agencies etc.

- Relationship across Banks, Financial Institutions, NBFCs, Foreign Banks, Knowledge of loan documentation, structures, etc.

- Ability to work in cross functional teams.

- Proactive to change in dynamic market conditions & Proactive learner.
