IndusInd Bank - Product Manager - Cash Management - Transaction Banking Group

Job Purpose:

- The candidate would be mainly responsible for working on Collection and Payments related Product/services like Cash, Cheque, Dividend, Salary, Bulk Cheque printing and other Cash Management deals.

- This role also involves Product management activities related to enhancement of existing / new CMS system offering this will involve liaison with stakeholders from technology, solution delivery, operations.

- Product management will also involve new or existing product approval process activity involving liaison with key stakeholders in Bank.

- The candidate would be responsible for understanding the Cash Management requirement of the client and the offerings in the market and should be able to conceptualize and give solutions out of current and new products that can be offered to the client. Job role also involves effective utilization of Bank's Currency chest on Cash Management deals, Vendor management and Correspondent Bank related activities.

- Dashboard MIS on product/services for tracking product performance and management reporting.

Main Responsibilities / Accountabilities / Tasks:

- Structure Cash Management product to meet requirements of corporate customers by conceptualizing existing/new products.

- Interact with BU / CMS RMs, Operations, Implementation, Aggregators, IT, Solution Delivery teams for supporting the client's CMS needs.

- Drive product sales through Various initiatives like training, commercialisation with CMS RMs to meet targets which could be a combination of revenue in terms of float / fees as well as throughput volumes.

- Help CMS Sales in various RFP pitch from deal origination to negotiation, help provide feasibility on activities involving chest, branches, vendor/correspondent bank services.

- Work closely with the Corporate and Consumer bank's client coverage teams to provide the latest and entire range of cash management products for the targeted clients.

- Ensure adherence to regulatory & Bank's guidelines and procedures

- Help Sales/Implementation provide guidance for End to end implementation including documentation & hand-holding the addressing client requirement with IT and solution delivery team.

- Build a good working relationship with Internal as well as External customers

- Work on new projects, system related enhancements in liaison with IT/Solution delivery partners

- Timely initiation & completion of New / Review of existing product ORMC notes

- Proactively take on ad-hoc assignments identified by the Management to grow the Cash Management business.

- Track and Monitor Monthly Throughput, count, Fee and Float revenue of Products and its vendor cost associated.

- Monitor and Report Currency chest Business volumes & ensure maximum utilization of chest for CMS cash business.

- Ensure Mandate profitability is within the acceptable levels.

- Drive cost saving initiatives towards vendors providing logistics / processing services

- Help sales on key mandates requiring pricing negotiation with Vendors/Correspondent Bank.
