The role would be part of Decision Sciences Unit which spearheads initiatives that helps business leaders to make credit/risk based decisions pertaining to secured/unsecured assets. The role would entail solving problem around Risk Strategy, Scorecard development, PD modeling, Price sensitivity/elasticity basis risk, Client engagement strategy Key responsibilities: - Analyse the financial performance of client by evaluating cash flow, balance sheet, bureau data etc to come up with risk based scorecards - Come up with RAR exposure for client to give secured/unsecured loans. - Responsible for generating analytics insight and implementable business strategies by analyzing and modeling various business vectors. - Interact with BU owners/teams of all levels to review expected outputs, applicability to business challenges, and model measurement. - Deliberate solution/analytics approach with Risk team and ensure buy in on the proposed approach. - Assess analytics opportunities and make subsequent recommendations as to the risk based pricing/ analytical approaches to be utilized that will drive the most value for the end-client. - End to end owner ship of analytics/strategic projects. Key Skill Sets : - Ability to understand business challenges\requirements, design and deliver analysis & mathematically model the requirements. - Proficient with statistical techniques such as logistics regression, multivariate regression, customer segmentation, CHAID, etc - Detailed knowledge of Risk modeling and concepts such as LD, PD model etc. - Good knowledge around BASEL norms - Strong data manipulation skills using SAS and familiarity with relational database design - Ability to develop models using SAS or other tools like R, Python etc.. - Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PPT, Excel) and visualization. - Strong communication skills (verbal and written) - Experience in Banking - Liabilities and/or Assets Background : - Masters/Bachelors in any quantitative discipline (Statistics/Mathematics/Operations Research etc.) with strong quantitative skills would be an added advantage - Must have financial/risk analytics background- CFA/CA preferred
