The Head of Marketing & Communication is responsible for developing and implementing the long-term marketing & communication vision for the Bank, which promotes its unique position in the marketplace. Responsibilities include planning, development and implementation of Banks marketing strategies and communications, both external and internal. Oversees development and implementation of support materials and services in the area of marketing and communications. Directs the efforts of the marketing and communications staff and coordinates at the strategic and tactical levels with the other functions of the Bank.
Overall Job Description
- Reflect, articulate, and promote the mission, vision and identity of the Bank
- Responsible for creating, implementing and measuring the success of a comprehensive marketing and communications program that will enhance the Banks image and position within the marketplace and the stakeholders, and facilitate internal and external communications.
- Coordinate media interest in the Bank and ensure regular contact with target media and appropriate response to media requests.
- Reputation management - media handling and crisis management
- Develop, coordinate and oversee programs, technical assistance and resource materials to assist various departments in the marketing, communications and positioning of their activities.
- Understanding of digital marketing and emerging paradigms of customer relationship management and customer journey, including integration of digital marketing into seamless processes to enable customer onboarding and experience
- Develop, implement and monitor systems and procedures necessary to the smooth operation of the marketing and communications function.
- Ensure that the Bank regularly conducts relevant market research and coordinate and oversee this activity. Monitor trends.
- Leads special projects as assigned, such as special events, projects involving work within the group companies, campaign communications plan.
- Develop short- and long-term plans and budgets for the marketing and communications program and its activities, monitor progress, ensure adherence and evaluate performance.
- Responsible for the achievement of marketing and communications mission, goals and financial objectives.
- High Impact Campaigns & Micro level Visibility for branches. To monitor periodic budget allocation and spend on the activities/marketing campaigns undertaken by the teams.
- Implementing competitive & market intelligence capabilities through systematic and objective analysis of relevant information relating to target markets, competitor and economic environments.
- Management of diverse set of advertising agencies.
