IndusInd Bank - Business Analyst - NR Business - IIT/NIT/BITS

Roles & responsibilities - Working with Head of Business Analytics to create business impact through strong data analysis.

Some of the representative projects are:

1. Drive Cross-sell on internal customer bases of the bank by using Propensity modeling

2. Continuous assessment of model response (conversion % on propensity leads) through automated dashboards; continuous improvement in propensity model performance

3. Development of an early risk warning system for SME loans

4. Refinement of risk-scoring model for various pre-approved loan programs of the bank

5. Analysis on Portfolio behaviour and emerging trends (especially risk trends) of existing loan book of the bank

6. Identification of new opportunities to scale-up business as part of existing pre-approved loan programs

Required skill-set/target candidate profile -

1. Basic minimum education qualification: Bachelor of Technology/Bachelor in Engineering from top tier Engineering Institute (IIT/NITs/ top tier Engineering colleges) or Bachelor/Master in Statistics or Mathematics from top universities (such as Indian Institute of Statistics, Kolkata)

2. Work Experience of 4 to 5 years is ideal

3. Ability to pick-up new skills and think from first principles to solve Business problems using Data analysis

4. Experience in use of software such as SAS with hands-on ability to do statistical modeling

5. VBA coding skills will be a big plus

6. Experience in technologies such as Decision tree, CHAID, Cox regression and Logistic regression will be a strong enabler.
