About the Role :
Indus Insights is looking to fill the position of Business Development Manager: India. This position will be based out of Gurgaon (Delhi NCR) and shall be responsible for Sales & Marketing for Indian market.
Key Responsibilities associated with this role will include :
- Driving sales revenue for the India market. This will involve generating leads, meeting clients and closing the deals
- Driving marketing initiatives such as webinars, advertisements/promotions, campaigns etc.
- Planning and executing business development activities such as email and social media for lead generation
- Providing assistance in developing RFI/RFP responses and proposals
- Generate business development collaterals including case studies and presentations. This may involve interaction with the delivery teams
- Coordinate PR activities including content creation for internal and external blogs & magazines, and coordinating with external agencies
- Events planning, coordination and representation

Experience :
- You have background in communicating technical and business value propositions and in developing a sense of urgency with prospective clients
- You have relevant experience in dealing with enterprise level sales to financial services / retail / e-commerce clients
- You have a demonstrated track record in business development or selling of consulting services (such as data analytics / management consulting / market research), system integration projects or software solutions
- You use social media tools, including LinkedIn and twitter effectively, for lead generation
Skills & Behaviors :
- You are creative about coming up with different ways to get in front of the right people and generate sales
- You are excited about researching new fields, persistent in chasing people to achieve your goals, and do not give up easily
- You have excellent command over written and spoken English. This is an absolute must and candidates with mediocre communication capabilities will be immediately turned down
- Foreign language capability (especially Spanish) will be an additional advantage
- You are a star! You have excelled at whatever you have done - at academics, at your workplace, at your extra-curricular interests
