About our Client - Our client is one of the leading French MNC in the technology solutions space serving the infrastructure industry in India. With a presence in over 38 countries and an employee base of 25000 they are currently looking to expand their business in India. To support the Indirect taxation and Commercial function they are currently looking out for an able leader to head the indirect taxation function based out of Delhi NCR.

Job Description - Reporting to Director of International Taxes, handling a team of 6 qualified professionals. You will be responsible for :

- Ensuring all Indirect tax planning, defending audits & assessments and handling litigations.

- Managing Indirect Tax compliances involving a custom, excise, service tax, foreign trade policy(advance licenses, EOU, SEZ, Served from India) and multiple locations VAT including preventive or DRI investigations

- Preparing 5 year tax plans of the company while looking after all indirect tax related matters for the company and its subsidiaries

- Handling litigation and appeals for all Sales Tax/ VAT / Excise related matters

- Handle anti-dumping duty matters including handling appearance before CESTAT and Director General Anti-Dumping

- Advising on tax implication of business with devising ways and means to mitigate an adverse impact and to realize the huge saving potential of tax efficient business model.

The Successful Candidate - You are a CA and LLB with 7-9 years of experience- majority of this being in handling Indirect Taxation (especially litigations) for a Multi National firm. Along with excellent interpersonal skills, you should be having a good understanding of general legal, financial and accounting principles.
