1. Identify the right source/ vendor 2. Negotiation with supplier 3. Finalize the contracts with proper clause for risk mitigation to prevent any supply disruption/ delay, quality deviation, high maintenance cost, abrupt price escalation or any other factor. 4. Maintain TAT (PR to Purchase) across the function as per the target 5. Make action plan & regular review of the target achievement of KPI's in terms of saving, payable days, inventory or other performance indices of own function 6. Managing team by developing proper MIS its review & guidance to team members 7. Attending cross function team meetings for cost estimate, delivery schedule, quality aspect etc pertaining to any project or production plan Professional Competency Required: 1. Working knowledge of SAP MM module 2. Knowledge of commercial terms & contract drafting 3.
