Position Summary:

- This position gives you a unique insight into the working of an airline and the entire aviation industry ecosystem.

- It also gives you a good opportunity to understand the organization strategy, communication of the strategy, operational nuances and the process of CEO decision making.

- The competencies and experience gathered will be very useful for any leadership position in the aviation industry.

Key Requirements:

- We require individual who has worked on Business Strategy / Operational strategy as part of their experience in Management Consulting or Mix of Industry and Management Consultant post MBA from a premier institute or related advanced degree.

- Candidates with prior experience is M&A / Deal Structuring are requested not to apply as that would not be the right experience for us.

Role & Responsibilities:

- Enabling data driven decision making for strategy formulation

- Global and Indian macro economic drivers, aviation industry market size, growth rates, benchmark / drivers etc.

- Data / Financials analysis and presentation of internal organization data

- Work closely with different departments on analysis of initiatives to maximize efficiency and business results in commercial (e.g., Network Planning, Revenue Management, Marketing) and operating (Flight Operations, Airport Operations, Engineering and Maintenance, Inflight Services, Cargo) departments

- Project-based quantitative analysis for aiding in operational business decision making

- Preparation of power point presentations for internal and external CEO meetings

- Involvement in multiple company events' organization and preparation

- Participation in industry events to capture industry highlights and trends

- Work closely with CEO, other members of CEO office, ExComm members and department heads on multiple strategic and operational topics of discussion

- Support ongoing activities of the CEO's office

Required skills and competencies:

- MBA from a premier institute or related advanced degree required (Mandatory)

- 6-8 years of post-MBA analytical work experience demonstrating increasing responsibility and effective leadership, preferably in a consulting organization

- Experience in developing and using Excel-based models, conducting financial and statistical analysis, process design, hypotheses development, decision option identification and problem solving

- Experience in power point presentations creation

- Ability to effectively and efficiently communicate complex issues to senior management

- Demonstrated crisp, persuasive written and verbal communication skills

- Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and acting without having the total picture

- Ability to effectively pose questions in order to gather information required for further analysis

- Work with cross-functional teams; Strong contributor to a team environment

- High degree of results orientation

- Proven track record of effective project management a plus

- Airline industry knowledge a plus
