Sr. Manager - Risk & Control

The role holder will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and analyzing risks inherent to the operations of the organisation. Incumbent will formulate, implement, administer, and evaluate risk management strategies to efficiently and cost-effectively manage those risks.

Role Expectations:

- Pro-actively providing risk management advice across the group, pro-actively identifying emerging risks and advising management on appropriate risk management options;

- Reporting on key risks, including agreeing mitigating controls and escalating other risks (e.g. in relation to specific deals);

- Overseeing risk reporting to the Management on risk management best practice;

- Conducting reviews of current or emerging high risk and high profile activities, if any

- Helping managers at all levels across the organization ensure that risk management is embedded at an operational level within the business and that staff at all levels are aware of and manage risk as a core part of their responsibilities;

- Providing business continuity advice to the Management, including acting as a member of the Crisis Management Team if required;

- Liaising with other specialist external advisors on the control environment and tracking the implementation of recommendations;

- Coordination with internal auditors

- Identify compliance risks

Skill Set:

- Qualified CA

- Demonstration of strong communication and interaction with all levels of the organization.

- Approaches role with sense of urgency and high level of independence.

Experience:

- 8 - 10 years of post-qualification industry experience.

- Experience in Risk Management, Compliance, and/or Audit a plus.

- Working knowledge of operational risk management framework.
