Experience: Minimum 8 year of experience in handling operations of financial institutions or related field with at least 3 year in leadership role in an Exchange or a Financial institutions

Job Description:

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the operations team responsible for managing the exchange operations 22 hours including Beginning of Day (BOD) and End of Day (EOD) activities

- Develop and implement operational procedures, workflows, and policies to ensure efficient operations and compliance with regulatory requirements; BSE - INTERNAL

- Build and lead a high-performing operations and development team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

- Monitoring timely preparation & communication of circulars issued by the exchange related to change in contracts, new commodities, and changes in the system

- Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and capabilities

- Collaborate synergistically with cross-functional teams, including trading, compliance, risk management and technology to streamline the process, optimize systems and amplify operational prowess.

- Implement robust risk management processes and controls to mitigate operational, financial, and cybersecurity risks

- Monitor trading activities and market conditions to identify and respond to potential risks promptly.

- Drive the development roadmap for the exchange platform, prioritizing features and enhancements based on market trends, user feedback, and business priorities.

- Collaborate with the technology team to design and implement new functionalities, upgrades, and integrations to improve the platform's competitiveness and attractiveness to users.

- Stay abreast of technological advancements and market developments to proactively propose and implement innovative solutions.

Knowledge:

- In-depth knowledge in operations management within a financial exchange or trading environment, with a strong understanding of exchange operations, trading systems, and financial markets.

- Exhibit profound understanding of international markets along with Indian securities market, rules & regulations related to securities including futures and options.

Skills:

- Strong Leadership and Management Skills

- Having a strong knowledge of Python, SQL and other machine learning languages.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal teams, external stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.
