Job Description :

- Lead Product & Component testing for New products, Modified products and existing products within the Engineering Testing function

- Create and Own the road-map for Testing and Prototyping within the engineering function.

Description :

- Lead Product & Component testing for New products, Modified products and existing products within the Engineering Testing function

- Lead the Lab team to Manage / Upgrade & Maintain all labs infrastructure. This includes but not limited to Product Labs, Biotechnology Lab, Control Lab, UX Lab, Model shops, prototyping.

- Ensure Codes, Standards & Compliance as a part of verification & Validation

- Evaluate, access & Select external test labs to get testing conducted where internal capabilities are not possible

- Work with external agencies for Lab Certification & Accreditation

- Development of new facilities and infrastructure for Testing and Prototyping for current and upcoming product categories/technologies

- Ensure that Gauge R&R Study & Correlation study is conducted periodically

- Ensure Calibration is as per the schedule

- Create relationships and lead the external testings & certifications. Create Standard process for certifications & Third-party testings

Profile :

- B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech from a reputed institute.

- Six-Sigma Black Belt / Master black belt preferred

- 15-20 years managing Global lab operations.

- Should have experience in functional, safety, reliability and environmental related testing.

- Should have been involved in setting up lab infrastructures and understand compliance/ regulations etc.

- Should have exposure to tools like NI, Matlab, LMS DQA, Minitab, JmP etc.

- Experience in home appliances, Medical equipment's, Automobiles OEM or heavy equipment's preferred

- Must have worked on complete NPD (New Product Development) cycle -from Kick-off till Product launch
