Key Responsibilities:

- Legal Drafting & Documentation: Draft and review legal notices, suits, complaints, and other legal documents related to civil litigation, with a focus on recovery matters.

- Arbitration & Recovery Proceedings: Manage and represent the organization in arbitration proceedings and Section 138/25 cases, with an emphasis on recovery actions.

- Civil Litigation Management: Handle litigation cases primarily focused on recovery matters from the lender's side, across various forums, including High Courts, Arbitration, NCLT/NCLAT, DRT/DRAT, and under SARFAESI laws.

- Litigation Record Keeping: Maintain and update litigation records, repository folders, and spreadsheet trackers in real time to ensure that all proceedings are documented accurately and efficiently.

- Real Estate Disputes: Handle litigation concerning wholesale real estate and large-ticket size accounts, including disputes related to land matters and property transactions.

- Client Liaison: Work closely with internal stakeholders, external counsels, and clients to manage litigation strategy and ensure effective case resolution.

- Legal Research & Strategy: Conduct legal research and provide strategic advice to senior management on various legal matters, especially in recovery and real estate disputes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Minimum 1+ years of experience in civil litigation with a focus on recovery matters, especially from the lender's side.

- Extensive experience handling litigation in High Courts, Arbitration, NCLT/NCLAT, DRT/DRAT, and SARFAESI.

- Prior experience with wholesale real estate litigation and large-ticket size accounts is mandatory.

- Strong knowledge of land disputes, property law, and real estate transactions.

- Expertise in managing arbitration proceedings and Section 138/25 cases.

- Excellent skills in drafting legal documents, including notices, suits, complaints, and petitions.

- Proven track record of managing litigation processes and ensuring timely resolution of cases.

- Strong research and problem-solving skills, with the ability to advise on complex legal matters.

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.

- Ability to handle multiple cases and responsibilities while maintaining attention to detail.

- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in handling real estate disputes related to large-ticket size accounts and property transactions.

- Familiarity with litigation related to wholesale real estate and land disputes is highly preferred.

- Post-graduate qualifications in Law (LLM or equivalent) will be a plus.

- Experience in managing cross-functional teams and coordinating with external legal counsels
