- Vetting, drafting and finalizing Loan documents, agreements, Bank Guarantees, notices, replies, plaints, Suits, Claims, affidavit, Criminal Complaints, FIRs, legal procedures etc.
- Advising the management on various agreements, legal disputes, legal policies, procedures and other legal relationships entered into by the Company.
- Dealing with legal disputes of the Company and monitoring & attending Court cases filed by the Company and filed against the Company across the country & preparation & tracking of MIS.
- Liaison with the lawyers of the Company on legal issues and accordingly advising the management on them.
- Coordinating with lawyers, valuers and various revenue authorities for valuation and title clearance of properties.
- Coordinating & managing lawyers, valuers & various other authorities with respect to creation of various types of mortgage of immovable properties across India
- Coordinating with various investigating authorities and representing the Company before Police Authorities, Economic Offence Wings etc for filing FIRs, Criminal Complaints etc.
- Recoveries of out standings from delinquent borrowers by using various measures such as negotiations, Court cases etc.
- Handling and scrutiny of clients- entire documentation process starting from the execution of relevant sets of documents.
- Preparation and circulation of monthly checklist of documentation process at various stages completed with respect to clients and the presentation of the same as desired by the management from time to time.
Candidate should be/have :
- LLB/LLM
- 5+ years of experience in Banking / NBFC / Financial Institution
- Multi Language capability would be an advantage
- In-depth functional knowledge with an eye for detail.
- Sound analytical skills to review information and identify issues
- Good organizational skills and willingness to handle documentation
- Good drafting, negotiation and transactional skills.
- Dependability: Being reliable, responsible, dedicated, committed and fulfilling obligations
- Ability to work well independently and in a team setting.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to communicate across various departments
