Indegene - Product Manager - Data & Analytics

Job Description:

This role is a hybrid, hands-on position where a typical day will likely include a range of activities, from the strategic elements of product management (Roadmap and release planning and communication), through to the detailed execution of tasks (As an integral part of an Agile development team (Product Owner).) The role will also include extensive communication with the technical leads in-person or remote.

- Define new and existing product business requirements

- Work with Product development team, Data Scientists, Analysts to continually elaborate on business requirements to define a technology solution including system architecture and product specifications

- Review work delivered by various teams to ensure it is as per specifications

- Work closely with clients and sales teams to understand product feedback, ongoing requirements, customizations to continuously evolve and build a world-class product

- Plan and manage the product releases

- Support user validation and testing

- Ensure readiness for release including technical documentation and training

- Coordinate the product launch with marketing, customer care and sales groups

- Perform product demos for potential customers

- Ongoing product support, enhancements and life cycle management for existing products

- Develop business case and product roadmap for new products

- Support and collaborate with all facets of the business

Qualification: Any graduate, Btech/Mtech, MS Computer Sciences

Desired skills:

- 8+ years of software product management / development experience.

- Minimum 5-8 years of product management experience in related field of data and analytics

- Experience developing SaaS and analytics product offerings

- Understanding and knowledge of structured and unstructured data, and big data architecture

- Expertise in leveraging BI data visualization tools such as Tableau, QlikView, Power BI

- Experience in at least one statistical software package and proficiency in SQL is a plus

- Experience working in an Agile Software development environment (SCRUM - Product Owner)

- This position may require travel to customer and non-customer sites Globally

- Computer Science or Engineering degree or equivalent work experience in a Digital domain.

- Business Analyst experience

- Business process engineering experience
