The Job entails the following but not limited to:
- Forecasting will involve supporting significant growth and ongoing sophistication
- Building new forecasts and continuously improving existing forecast models using data and outcomes from past engagements
- Building forecasting capabilities and proprietary assets within the group to help identify and size new business opportunities that Indegene can pursue
- Defending the validity of the forecasts before clients and internal stakeholders based on competitor insights and revenue forecasts
- Work in analogue analysis, analysis of promotional spend, scenario planning, opportunity assessment of the brands for clients
- Valuation of clinical trial opportunities and provide revenue stand points for decision points
- Working with a cross-functional team of data scientists, sales teams, marketing to deliver high quality analyses and recommendations to Indegene's product commercialization team and to Indegene's clients
- Monitoring industry trends and implementing best practices to improve in-house capabilities
Experience:
- Minimum of 3-6 years relevant experience. 3+ years- experience in the pharmaceutical and forecasting space
- BTech / MTech in Engineering or Pharma background

- Ability to work on Forecasting, Business Analytics, Analog Analysis, Strategic Planning, Pipeline Analysis, Business Development, Market Research, Identification and Profiling of KOLs
- Experienced with analysis of secondary data and syndicated databases.
- Proficient with analytical tools such as SAS, R, Python, MS Excel/VBA and MS PowerPoint
- Ability to translate data and information into actionable insights and business recommendations
- Persuasive and credible communication and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of the market dynamics of the pharmaceutical industry
Domain Experience
Deep experience in forecasting for clients in the pharmaceutical industry:
- Forecasting for in-line/ pipeline / launch brands/ generics/ branded generics etc.
- Forecasting to support business development and licensing activities in pharma
- Patient level and trend-based forecasting
- Forecast model development using Excel and VBA
- Forecast management for inline brands
- Data sources/data marts expertise (Ex-factory, IMS, Kantar, Euromonitor, DR, etc.)
- Analog analysis for product pricing, market shares
Sound in secondary desk research and Epidemiology research with hands-on experience on syndicated databases; primary market research experience would be an advantage (well versed with PubMed, clinical trials.
