About the Role:
The HR Lead will drive and direct the functions of the Human Resources (HR) department of the organization. Duties will involve end-to-end management of recruitment, employee relations, performance management, talent management, and formulating organizational policies and processes.
The HR Lead will operate out of our head office in Bangalore.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Build best in class processes - Institutionalize and implement best in class systems and processes in the areas of on-boarding, performance management, talent acquisition, and learning and development
- Talent strategy - Partner with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization's human resource and talent strategy, current and future talent needs, recruiting and retention
- End to end employee lifecycle management - Maintain employee database, handle payroll and employee benefits program
- Industry best practices - Build and implement internal processes and policies customized to the needs of the industry
- Compliance - Recommend best practices, review and update internal policies and practices to maintain organizational compliance
- HR Operations - Hire, guide and evaluate the work of HR executive(s). Provide mentorship and constructive feedback.
Desired Qualification and Experience:
- 4+ years of work experience in Human Resources with at least 2+ years of experience in leading a team.
- MBA graduate with a degree in Human Resources from premier institute will be preferred
- Knowledge of HR systems and databases
- Start-up experience - unique challenges and long working hours
- Working proficiency in the use of MS Office Suite and G Suite
- Have strong time management and people management skills
- Attention to detail and exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated and ability to work under minimal supervision
- Strong ethical grounding and absolute adherence to the firm's confidentiality rules and processes
