Job Overview:
- Inc42 is looking for a business development professional who is passionate about strategy & startups. You will be leading the government partnerships and engagement function and working closely with the founders to help grow the same.
- In an all encompassing role, you will be responsible for not only creating and implementing the strategic vision of the function, but also lead the execution of the same. This role will also extend to creating systems, processes and controls that will help better organise the function and enable the same to become a source of predictable revenue for the organisation.

Job Description :
- As the Manager-Government partnerships, you will be responsible for owning the revenue generation for our Government sales function.
- You will be responsible for driving sales through the creation of a government strategy, sales management and strategic leadership
- Develop and execute business development strategy and plan (both short and long term) to ensure achievement of company sales targets, growth in profits and expansion of markets
- Steer the organisation through early opportunity identification, account engagement, project level engagement & execution
- Competitively engage with all the business touch points including engaging with powerful strategic Government departments, agencies and large business aggregators
- Build a good sales network, enhanced prospects list and sales pipeline. Develop and implement strategies for expanding the company's customer base
- Interact with all functional heads of the client company (Govt.) to understand their initiatives and ensure project delivery on the same
- Design systems, processes and internal controls to ensure timely & accurate forecasts, project delivery and compliance
The Successful Applicant:
Education: Must have a bachelor's degree in Engineering with MBA or equivalent
Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a sales position out of which at least 1 year of experience working with the Government accounts (Center/State). Exposure to the startup ecosystem, DPIIT & international business councils will be preferred
Sales-Record: Proven sales record of utilizing government networks and driving value driven sales. Establishing a government sales vertical and growing the same would be preferred
Project Delivery: experience in project management and successful delivery for government clients
Soft Skills: Team-player, strategic thinker & problem solver with the ability to be hands-on.
Location: Should be based out of Delhi NCR region
