Role: Implementation Manager

Definition

- The incumbent of this position needs to be a self starter and a leader who can manage and lead a team of leaders in the implementation of projects and products. This position reports into the Head of Implementation and is techno-managerial in nature. This position is required to handle more than one project at a time. He may be required to travel to customer locations, within India and abroad.

Responsibilities

- Complete ownership for the implementation aspect of the project(s) and responsible for its success/ failure.

- Establish, maintain and communicate scalable, repeatable processes to improve customer satisfaction and operational efficiencies.

- Document and communicate project plans, milestones, issues, risks and status throughout the life of the project(s).

- Project Planning, Monitoring and Control

- Resource Planning and allocating work and resources to Project Leaders

- Prepare/ Review Customer Specifications Document and get sign off from the customer.

- Conduct Project Reviews. Assess the status of the project. Take corrective actions if and when required.

- Submit Project Status reports to the Head of Implementation on a weekly basis.

- Ensure project reports are promptly sent to the customer once a week.

- Review, Plan and schedules for system testing and acceptance testing

- Ensure relevant metrics are maintained for every project as defined in Opus' Quality system

- Providing management services such as employee performance reviews, corrective action, documentation, staff development, recruiting and budget reconciliation

- Participate in Quality audits

- Complete the projects within the budgeted cost.

- Customer Interactions and prospect for new business with them

- Maintain weekly log of activities and time spent on each activity

- Motivate and mentor team members.

- Prepare an Implementation Plan for the Projects.

- Assist the presales team in the preparation of Project Proposals.

- Participate in technical Presentations

- Recruitment Support

- Training Support

- Handover of the project to the Support Team.

- Inform Accounts and Sales regarding completion of milestones for payments.

- Signed off Customer Specification Document (CSD), User Manuals, System Operation and Administration manuals, training materials.
