Position Title: Operations Manager/Principal Officer
Location: Mumbai.
Reporting Manager: Chief Business Officer

Roles & Responsibilities
- Spearhead all insurance-related activities and undertake a mix of operational and supervisory roles related to selling insurance products, meeting customers, and handling administrative issues related to the role.
- Ensuring compliance with IRDA guidelines and keeping up to date with all regulatory changes and ensuring implementation of the same. Help the organization's processes remain legally and operationally compliant.
- Responsibility in the matter of regulatory compliance, including its auditing by the regulatory authority.
- Coordinating with insurance companies and internal stakeholders for smooth functioning and growth of the insurance business.
- Responsible for planning, implementing and managing strategies and operational objectives
- Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way
- Implement operational management systems, processes and best practices across all levels.
- Responsible for the reports, product, MIS, and operations following regulatory & compliance norms.
- Responsible for directing agents' workflow and workload as well as handling complaints, concerns and questions from customers from the regulatory & compliance perspective.
- Conducting effective resource planning to maximize the productivity of people, technology etc.
Professional Experiences
- 10-12 years of experience in the General Insurance domain
- Experience in managing operational activities, legal and regulatory compliance for insurance
- Knowledge of performance evaluation and customer service metrics
- Understanding of reporting and budgeting procedures
- Experience in basic financial analysis (cost-effectiveness, cost-benefit etc.)
