Impact/ESG Investing Role - Private Equity

Organisation: Luxembourg Holding Company that scouts implements and manages Impact Investment opportunities, in India and South East Asia. The Company has teams and partners in Luxembourg, Switzerland and India.

Job Location: Chennai

Job Responsibilities:

- Support impact investments in shortlisting potential investments according to criteria as per their investment matrix.

- Support in conducting the first analysis of available quantitative and qualitative data.

- Validate if needed data through on-site visits.

- Prepare and present in coordination with the team the first analysis using proper formats to investment team and in case it is internally approved support the preparation of the documentation for the investment committee.

- Maintain record of the Indian funding pipeline, including rejected deal, according to formats.

- Capture trends in target industries in India and update investment team accordingly.

- Support special projects linked to existing investees or setting up new initiatives in the impact sphere.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

- Minimum 5 years' experience in investment banking with 2-3 years in impact investing and private equity.

- Education - MBA / CA / CFA
