Purpose of the role
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Product Marketing Manager with proven success with SaaS and PaaS products, driving product awareness and growth by crafting and articulating engaging and meaningful stories.
The successful candidate will conceive and lead various go-to-market initiatives including market and user research, competitive analysis, product positioning and messaging, content creation, campaign analysis and optimization and more.
Principal Accountabilities (responsibilities and duties)
Product packaging and messaging
- Develop a deep understanding of our products, value proposition, competition, target customers, target user and buyer personas
- Establish the most compelling use cases in our target sectors; add and refine
GTM planning and execution- Help define the company's go-to-market (GTM) plan for our cloud based products through effective research and analysis
- Drive a range of GTM programs including, webinars, tradeshows, social media, content marketing and more
- Contribute to sales enablement programs by conducting sales training sessions and delivering recorded product demos
- Produce and maintain product collateral such as brochures, data sheets, product and solution presentations to support field sales teams as required
- Engage with clients and users to create case studies, success stories, testimonials etc.
Competitive benchmarking and pricing- Conduct market and competitive research to build competitive intelligence including producing battle cards and other sales tools
- Continually refine our market positioning vis a vis competition
- Help evolve pricing based on market feedback and as and when new product capabilities are introduced
Analyst relations
- Engage with leading analysts to drive awareness of IMI's products and their value proposition
- Seek market and competitive insights and feed back to Product Management and the wider business
Experience, Qualifications and Technical Knowledge
Essential:- Must have at least 4 years of proven product marketing experience in a high growth environment at enterprise B2B SaaS/PaaS companies
- Technical education, particularly in computer science / engineering
- Fresh, original, and critical thinking abilities with capacity for quick decision-making in complex scenarios
- Effective written and spoken communication; strong story telling and presentation abilities
Desirable:
- MBA from a premier institution
