Job brief :

- The Head of Accounts would oversee all activities of the accounting and tax accounting departments and would be involved in the supervision and management of general accounting activities, analyses, business partnership, and the maintenance of effective internal controls while ensuring statutory compliance in all accounting initiatives.

- He /She would the accounting department in the establishment of risk management procedures as well as the update of those procedures.

- The Head of Accounting would play a leading role in creating and enhancing financial policies and procedures across the accounting department as well as the wider Finance department. He/She should ensure that there is consistency in procedures and policies across the accounting department and that these policies are appropriately set for the achievement of the business's overall goals and objectives.

The Head of Accounting also leads the department in the documentation of all financial books and records. He also prepares reports in reflection of the revenue quarterly/annual processes.

Job Responsibilities :

Leading Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable team

Ensuring key deliverables of the AR and AP team are met:

i. Raising of Corporate Invoicing

ii. Monthly Revenue Reconciliation

iii. Managing Accounts Payable list

iv. Maintaining monthly schedule of Advances, Prepaid, Fixed Assets, Rent Schedule etc

v. Managing new statutory requirements of TDS, GST and other statutory dues for proper accounting treatment

vi. Delivering monthly P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash flow in Schedule VI format

vii.Performing various analyses to prevent revenue leakage and come up with cost saving solutions.
