Job description
Role: The candidate will act as the sole business owner of the brand’s e-commerce business and will have the complete responsibility for brand’s e-commerce strategy, execution and growth including brand’s captive website and online marketplace sales. The candidate is also supposed to interact with various internal teams required for the day to day operations. He will be the point of contact to the client and will be the company face for the brand client. The candidate is responsible for driving all account activities including technology changes, online marketing, onsite merchandising, marketplace management and all other account related activities.
Responsibilities:
- Drive the entire PnL of e-commerce business of a national brand in lifestyle space
- Strategise brand’s online roadmap in harmony with the brand’s positioning and objectives
- Manage Captive website and Online Marketplace sales for the brand (Domestic & International)
- Ownership and management of Customer Experience including Design & Aesthetics, Content, Navigation, Information Architecture, Branding/Marketing, Performance, Functionality
- Understanding client requirement and being a link between the internal teams and the client
- Manage all e-commerce operations end-end of the brand
- Project Planning and Strategy Building
- Creating and executing business plans
- Reporting and analytics
Desired Skills and Experience
- Engineer with MBA with 2-3 years’ experience in E-Commerce (Online retail portals)
- Indepth understanding of Online Marketing, E-commerce Operations, Sourcing/Merchandising
- Experience managing e-commerce websites and selling across major online marketplaces
- Category Management experience in any major online portal can be an added advantage
- Should be well versed with MS office especially Excel
- Ability to compile and analyze search data and metrics and make decisions regarding campaign direction
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- A competent decision-maker with the ability to develop, own and build a strategic e-commerce plan for the brand
