Position Overview :
- The Director of Delivery will be responsible for managing operations for IKS Care for one client (to whom we may provide multiple services), and/or one particular service (which we may provide to multiple clients). The Director of Delivery will have profit-and-loss responsibility for the delivery function of IKS Care, i.e. he/she will be responsible for meeting targets for profit margins (primary responsibility) and revenue (shared responsibility).
- The Director of Delivery could have several Managers of Delivery reporting to him/her, depending upon the size of the client engagement. The Director of Delivery will be the - internal customer- for the enabling functions of IKS Care - i.e. solutions, delivery design, process excellence/quality, training, and hiring - and will work closely with these enabling functions.
- The Director of Delivery will be responsible for meeting the needs of these three stakeholders - clients (i.e. client satisfaction), employees (i.e. employee satisfaction), and IKS management (i.e. revenue and margins). The Director of Delivery must be a medical doctor and must have exposure to US healthcare. Experience in managing teams of doctors is preferable but not essential.
Job Description :
- Responsible for service delivery for IKS Care
- Ensure client satisfaction by ensuring that delivery meets or exceeds client expectations
- Participate in weekly/monthly reviews with client physicians or staff
- Manage the team effectively and ensure employee satisfaction
- Coordinate with shared services teams (quality, training, etc.) to ensure that delivery is successful
- Ensure that operations meet targets for revenue and gross margin
- Escalate issues to the Vice President of Delivery as needed
Candidate Profile :
- Medical degree - MBBS, BHMS, or BAMS
- 10 years of clinical experience, of which at least 1 year is targeted at US healthcare
- Exposure to healthcare IT, especially EHR, HIE, population management, etc.
- Understanding of the US healthcare industry, especially the move towards fee-for-value (FFV)
- Desirable - prior travel to the US
- Desirable - MD or MBA or other master's program related to medicine
- Desirable - Experience in managing a team of doctors
