KRA's

Teaching & Learning:

- To teach the students the full curriculum of Physics as per IIT-JEE MAINS / ADVANCE / AIIMS / NEET / AIPMT and/or VIII, IX, X, XI & XII and/or all the other engineering and medical entrance examinations.

- Keep up to date with current advances in subject and pedagogy.

- To transfer knowledge including practical skills, methods and techniques.

- To encourage the development of innovative approaches to course design and delivery and ensure that the course design and delivery comply with the quality and educational standards and regulations of IITian's PACE.

- To challenge thinking, foster debate and develop the ability of students to engage in critical discourse and rational thinking.

- To set, mark and assess work and examinations and provide feedback to students.

- To ensure that the teaching content and pedagogy are in accordance with student needs.

Problem solving:

- To provide assistance to the students during the library session and doubt solving one to one sessions.

- To be readily available to the students for doubt sessions.

- Initiative in developing new and creative approaches in response to teaching & class room challenges as well as challenges faced in administration at centres.

Student & Staff Counseling:

- To motivate, counsel or inspire confidence in students / parents

- Act as mentor and a guide to the students

- To attend and actively involved in PTMs

- To provide first line support for the colleagues and referring them to sources of further help if required.

- Training and counseling of junior faculty.

- Acting as mentor and guide to junior faculty.

Material Development:

- Revising and upgrading of the study material on the regular basis, based on current pattern.

- Developing question bank and new work sheet and study material along with solutions other than the existing one.

- Timely submission of the test papers and work sheets along with their solutions allotted by the HOD.

- Proof reading of the material.

- Copy correction and discussion of the result with the students.

Academic Coordinator:

- Ensure that the syllabus mapping is being done as per the almanac.

- Creating the lesson plans & unit plans as the base of syllabus tracking.

- Communication of the status of the syllabus tracking to the time table department and HR department

- Sharing the feedback or any information related to academics at the respective centre with the management.

- Ensuring smooth overall academic coordination with various departments.

- To take and ensure that all the classes are held as per the time table.

General Responsibilities:

- To adhere to policy and procedures of IITian's PACE.

- Strictly adhere to the code of conduct of IITian's PACE

- To undertake other such other duties as may be reasonably expected.

- To provide a healthy and comfortable working environment, smoking is prohibited throughout the IITian's PACE premises.

- To be involved in Business Development activities through seminars, parent interaction etc.

- To take overall responsibility for the organizing and deployment of resources within own areas of responsibility, and actively contribute to the overall management of the department in areas such as budget management and business planning.

- Help in recruitment & retention of faculty in respective department.
