About us:
Indian Institute of Technology Bombay - Development and Relations Foundation (DRF) is a not-for-profit section 8 unit. IITB DRF facilitates Institute's core mission and engages with our vibrant alumni community, corporations, and foundations with the goal of developing and sustaining long-term relationships.
These groups are the key stakeholders in IIT Bombay's journey of excellence. We encourage the involvement and participation of these entities in the Institute's strategic initiatives. These include setting up world class research and academics in emerging areas of science and technology, building world class infrastructure, improving faculty value proposition, strengthening the entrepreneurship ecosystem, and contributing to the society.
IITB DRF assists fundraising endeavours by way of donor solicitations, managing donor programs, maintaining financial accounts and reporting details of all activities implemented with alumni donations. https://acr.iitbombay.org/
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop strategies to strengthen relationships with alumni chapters, fostering collaboration and engagement to enhance support for the initiatives.
- Analyze donor journeys and user experiences to identify opportunities for improvement, implementing enhancements to streamline processes and maximize donor satisfaction
- Oversee the management of donations data, ensuring accuracy and completeness, and preparing reports to track donation trends and impact.
- Plan and execute year-long regular giving and recurring giving campaigns, leveraging various channels to attract and retain donors and supporters.
- Plan and organize alumni engagement events, including reunions, networking sessions, and special gatherings to foster connections and strengthen ties with alumni.
- Support the planning and execution of chapter events, collaborating with alumni chapters to ensure successful outcomes and meaningful engagement.
Desired Experience/ competencies:
- 6+ years' experience with 2-3 years' experience in driving large scale programs
- Excellent social media and operations management skills
- Strong educational pedigree, preference for qualification in science and technology
- Association with philanthropy and fund raising is a plus
