Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Key Account Manager to join our Learn and Grow team at iimjobs. The Key Account Manager will be responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with our key clients in the Education and Ed-Tech space. They will serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring client satisfaction, driving revenue growth, and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in account management, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a customer-centric approach.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main point of contact for key accounts, building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Understand clients' business objectives, challenges, and requirements to provide tailored solutions and value-added services.
- Develop and implement account management strategies to maximize client retention, satisfaction, and revenue growth while simultaneously driving fresh acquisitions.
- Conduct regular business reviews and meetings with key clients to ensure their needs are met and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Collaborate with internal teams (such as sales, marketing, and operations) to align strategies, address client concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Track and analyze key account metrics, including revenue, profitability, customer satisfaction, and market trends.
- Prepare reports and presentations to showcase account performance, growth opportunities, and market insights.
- Anticipate and proactively address client issues or concerns, acting as an escalation point when necessary.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors' activities to identify new business opportunities and recommend innovative solutions.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Masters in preferred but not mandatory.
- Proven experience in key account management or a similar role, preferably dealing with ed-tech companies.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills to drive upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Ability to understand clients' business objectives and challenges and provide customized solutions.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and metrics to drive strategic decisions.
- Results-oriented and able to meet targets and deadlines.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple accounts and priorities.
- Proficient in G-Suite and MS Office suite.
- Willingness to travel to meet with clients as needed.
